June 30, 2025 – Neenah, WI – Slate Hospitality Group announces the addition of a new location to their portfolio with the signing of the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites Main Street in Montevallo, AL with Montevallo Hotel Group, LLC. This location marks the 4th location under Slate Hospitality Group’s management in the state.
The addition of the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites Main Street marks the continued partnership between Slate Hospitality Group and the Cobblestone Hotels brand. Construction on this location is expected to begin later this year, and it will be constructed by BriMark Builders. Guests will be able to look forward to onsite amenities such as a convenience store, meeting room, and a business center.
The city is well known for being home to the University of Montevallo, which sees thousands of students each year. Montevallo also has a flourishing downtown, home to a number of unique locally owned shops and restaurants. Tourists will find plenty of opportunities to engage with the area through exploration of nature and history, like at Orr Park or American Village. Those in town for business will find easy access to all of Southern Shelby County, including the nearby city of Alabaster.
