Our Team

Karen has a strong background in Customer Service.  She was a Nursing Assistant for 24 years and finds that the skills that she developed in the medical field carry over to the hospitality industry seamlessly.  She began her hospitality career as Assistant General Manager and Acting General Manager with Choice Hotels, located in Port Clinton, Ohio, which is the seat of the county in the most touristed county of all of Ohio.  Karen and her team saw a measurable LTR increase and revenue growth during her time in position there.  Karen was a highly respected manager, making it a point to lead by example and come off as approachable to all team members.  She is a natural when it comes to hospitality.  Karen loves talking with guests and developing strong relationships with her coworkers.  She enjoys the variety of duties that are required as a leader, which initially drew her to the Property Support Manager position, along with her passion for travel.
